Today a delegation of PSEBEA met Hon'ble Chief Minister S. Parkash Singh Badal and S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa Hon'ble Finance Minister and expressed gratitude on behalf of Engineers for resolving the long pending issue of engineers regarding start pay of Rs. 18030/- to new Assistant Engineers.

Dear Engineers,

Govt of Punjab Finance Dept vide memo no 7467 dated 26/12/2016 has given go ahead to PSPCL for grant of 18030/- start pay to new AEs.
PSEBEA is grateful to the Hon'ble CM Punjab S. Parkash Singh Badal, Hon'ble Dy. CM Punjab S. Sukhbir Singh Badal, Hon'ble Finance Minister S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa, Chief Secy. Punjab, ACS Finance, Sh. S.K. Sandhu Principal Secy. to CM, Principal Secy. Power and Management of PSPCL and PSTCL for clearing the way for grant of start pay of 18030/- to new AEs.

PSEBEA is indebted to its members for overwhelming and unflinching support for the resolution of the issue. It is our unity and principled stand which has yielded this success.

Today a delegation of PSEB Engineers Association met S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa, Hon'ble Finance Minister, Punjab regarding approval of case for start pay of Rs 18030/- to AEs as the case was sent to Finance department by Principal Secretary Power for approval. Hon'ble Minister assured to approve the case expeditiously.

An agenda meeting was held between PSEBEA and PSPCL management today 18/11/2016 wherein following pending issues were discussed:
