Meeting held today with Hon'ble CM Punjab at Chandigarh wherein various issues of Engineers were discussed.
The meeting was chaired by S. Parkash Singh Badal Hon'ble Chief Minister. Sh S.K. Sandhu Principal Secy. to Hon'ble, CM Punjab, Sh. A Venu Prasad Pr. Secy Power, Er. K.D. Choudhary CMD PSPCL, S. G.S Bachhi Dir./Adm PSPCL, Sh. UK Panda Dir./F PSTCL were present.

Association delegation was led by Er. Baldev Singh President. Er. H.S. Bansal Sr. Vice President, Er. Randhir Singh Vice President, Er. Sanjeev Sood, Er. J.S. Dhiman Secy. Org., Er. Ajay Pal Singh Atwal Gen. Secy. and Er. Paramjit Singh Jt. Secy. participated from Association side.

CM instructed his Principal Secy. Sh. S.K. Sandhu to coordinate and resolve the issue of start of AE pay scale immediately. CMD PSPCL informed that orders for UT/ BBMB are being issued today.

Employee/ Association nominees shall be appointed as members of Terminal Benefit/ GPF trust. Govt shall take up the matter with PSERC regarding funding.

Association proposed that Super Critical units be constructed at Ropar, which was appreciated by Hon'ble CM, he instructed to work on this proposal.

Association stressed that PSPCL/ PSTCL should have a Common Cadre, to which it was proposed that detailed discussions should be held to avoid any complexities later.

Association also brought to the notice of Hon'ble CM the partisan role of CMD/ PSPCL in the affairs of PSEBEA. Association stressed that in such matters role of management should be impartial.
