A delegation of PSEBEA held a meeting with Punjab Govt on 5/2/16. The meeting was chaired by Chief Secy and Pr Secy to CM was also present in the meeting. Govt delegation responded positively to the issues concerning Power Engineers and assured action.
Following issues were discussed
1. Start Pay Scale of AE's of Rs.18030/-
2. Common Seniority/ Common Recruitment of Engineers in PSPCL/PSTCL: Secy/ Power to takeup the issue with CMD PSPCL and CMD PSTCL
3. Reimbursement of Mobile set cost
4. Operationalisation of GPF and Pension Trust.
5. Creation of Posts of SE's Distribution at District Headquarters
6. Cadre review of Civil Engineers.
7. Modification of Qualification & Experience Criteria of CMD/Director of PSPCL and PSTCL
8. Victimization of Engineers by PSPCL Management
9. Excessive Disciplinary Cases
10. Filling of posts of Punjab Quota in UT Chandigarh and BBMB
11. Filling of posts in PSERC from serving engineers of PSPCL
12. Restoration of LTC
13. Vehicles/LODA for all SE's
14. Change in Electrical Engineers Service Regulations
15. New recruitment at Initial Pay

GoP asked PSPCL to immediately refer the case of Starting Scale of 18030 for newly recruited AEs to Punjab Govt for its consideration. Details of discussion/ MoM shall be uploaded soon.
