CHANDIGARH: Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has criticised the partial implementation of 6th pay commission report in Haryana. INLD Secretary General & Rajya Sabha MP Ajay Singh Chautala has termed it as a betrayal with the employees of the state.
While condemning the implementation of allowances from the 1st January, 2009 instead of 1 January, 2006, Mr Chautala said that the repeated statements of complete implementation of the report has now been proved to be hollow and deceptive like 'elephant's teeth'. He also assailed the government for partial implemention of the recommendations with regard to House Rent Allowence, Medical Allowence and many other allowances.
INLD leader said that central government has given 30 per cent HRA, whereas the government has pruned the increase. Similarly, Medical allowence and many other allowences has not been given fully, he added.
Chautala said that injustice has been meted out to almost all the employees and they have been put to the lower pay band with respect to the pay commission recommendations. Citing such example, he said that employees with basic pay of Rs 5,000, 5450, 5500, 6500 have been put in the 3200, 3300, 3600 and 4000 grade pay in 9300-34800 pay scale whereas they are all in the grade pay of Rs 4200 in 9300-34800 pay scale as per the 6th pay commission recommendations.
INLD MP said that employee is a important part of the progressive mechanism but the government is having anti-employee attitude.
