Dear SIr,
This is in reference to our teleconversion of 25th August with Er. S. K.Sood regarding the captioned subject. i would like to further elaborate the subject as under:
As Asst.Er.is placed in prerevised scale of
Rs. 7750-9100/10350-14500(with intial start of Rs. 8550)
In the tenth year, an AEE would be getting basic pay of Rs.14100 as under :
Start Rs. 8550+ 275-8825+275-9100/10350(arter 3 years)
+350-10700+2x350-11400(on promotion as AEE) 11400+350-11750+350-12500+400+12900+400-13300
Thus in the 10th year an AE/AEE would get 13300+2x400-14100 as basic pay.(Pay scale Rs. 12500-19100)
In the light of above in 10th year prerivesd 14100 maybe fixed in PB-5 of Rs. 37400-67000(revised scale), applicable to retirees pre-Jan.2006
An incmbent in service getting Rs. 14100 basic will get fixed as under:(bunching benefit to start from Rs.14100 in stead of 12500)
Rs.14100/14500-37400-----14900/15350-38530------15800 as 39690
(one increment on pay in the payband for every two years)

I sincerely hope that above arguments would find favour & are in line with revised scales as grades lower than rs. 12500-400-14900-450-17600-500-19100 i.e Rs. 14300-400-18150
has been placed in PB-5 of Rs. 37400-6700
