Central Electricity Member (CEA) S M Dhiman Member CEA is reportedly a frontrunner for the post of Chairman Bhakra Beas Management Board(BBMB).
Dhiman is a power engineer and is working as Member Grid operation and distribution in Central Electricity Authority.
BBMB member MK Gupta is presently holding the additional charge of Chairman BBMB after the retirement of U C Mishra last month.
Dhiman has vast experience of hydro projects .He was responsible for formulation of policies for safe, secure and economic operation of regional grids ,integrated operation, control and co-ordination of five regional grids as Member CEA
