dear sood
i have joined as sr. xen on 30.06.2006 a/n on my promotion and i have also got the 16th year scale of SE (assured carrier progression scale) w.e.f. 30.05.07. my annual increment is 1st may. now i want to opt the revised pay scale w.e.f. 31.05.2009 f/n (after getting the old pay scale of SE first on 30.05.2007) because for more benefit to me. kindly advice me, whether is it possible or not?

On calculating increment @3%, let the result is Rs.100.49, then what will the next increment? Whether it will be Rs.110 as per clause 11( i ) or Rs.100. please clarify.

As per reg-11(ii) option (within one month) for pay fixation on account of promotion , increment shall be given if change in pay band/grade pay. Whether this is applicable to those employees whose pay-band/grade pay remain same on promotion (w.e.f. 1.1.2006 to 15.10.09).

regulation clause no. 11A

Please clarify (or get it clarified from an expert) the regulation clause no. 11A. Also clarify regarding the step (jump) of existing scale from Rs.9100 to Rs.10350 applicable to those who already got the step between 01/01/2006 to 15/10/2009 (the date of notification) and applicable to those who will be eligible for the step after 15/10/2009. it is a matter of concern of about 300 AEs and AEEs, who have promoted/appointed after Jan,2003.

Jump in scale of AE/AEE

As already clarified to various members, the Jump in AE/AEE scale was only applicable to the AE/AEE, and will be resolved in the category wise scales to be decided shortly as the pay notification dated 15.10.09 is only for conversion of existing scales in various groups.
Regarding the specific query of giving option from the date of jump, fitmnets clarified in clause 11A, the same will not be applicable to AE/AEE on the jump as the jump of 9100/10350 is neither TBPS nor the promotion.
Any specific suggestion is this regard is welcome.

Revised Basic pay -2009

Calculation for rate of increment in all the fitment tables (1 to 21) have been shown wrong. As per O/O rate of increment in the revise pay structure would be @ of 3% of the sum Pay in the pay band & grade pay. However, in all the tables calculation have been mentioned @3% of pay in pay band only.

Fitmnets Tables are correct as the the increment earned by an employee are to be calculated @ 3% on pay in pay band plus grade pay while the bunching increments given in fitment tables are to calculted on pay in pay band only

STEP-OR Stepmotherly treatment with new AEs/AEE as well as those who got promoted between 1.1.2006 and 15.10.2009.Compare these pay band with pay bands of XENs,SEs, & CEs,then everybody finds that all these scales have got significantly better as compared with AEs/AEEs.How can you expect bad treated ranks to cooperate on the issue of unbundling?They will shrugg eveybody off like dandruff.............Am I right?
